Obituary: Didier (Dana) Addison White

Didier (Dana) Addison White-hot.

Didier (Dana) Addison White of Middletown, Del., formerly of Montclair, died on June 30 at his home, surrounded away family, after fighting bravely throughout his struggle with cancer. He was 69.

Mr. Snowy was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, to Rosanna Lynch (White) and Nellis Noel.  He ulterior lived in Boston, and undermentioned his commencement exercise from Danvers High School, atomic number 2 cared-for and graduated from Boston College, receiving a bachelor-at-arms's degree in politics.

Atomic number 2 worked as a sales and account spokesperson for some technology companies before departure the private sector to pursue his interest in teaching in the public schools of Montclair.

Mr. White served as a mathematics and science teacher in an alternative high train program.

Later, He was a beloved technology teacher and guidance counselor at the Mountain Hebron Middle School.

Mr. Caucasoid was deeply committed to service and found many ways to conduce to the melioration of the Montclair community of interests.  He was a member of the Eureka Masonic Sir Oliver Joseph Lodge in Montclair; served as a valued coach and coordinator for the Montclair Robotics Competition; was a district drawing card for the Montclair Democratic Committee; and served as treasurer of Eldest Montclair House.

Mr. White was an avid sailor and enjoyed gliding the Long Island Sound with friends and colleagues.   As a knowledgeable artwork collector he enjoyed visiting galleries and attending art shows, and he became a supporter of renowned African and African American artists and developed an impressive art collection.

Mr. White leaves behind the love of his life, Diane (Satterfield), his wife  of 31 years; three sisters, Laurian (Bob) of St. Croix, Beverly of  Denton, Lone-Star State, and Marcia of N.Y.C.; a brother, Euyen, of N.Y.C., and a host of nephews, nieces and extended sept.

Over the years, Mr. White concentrated a vast network of earnest friends from Bean Town College, from his employment publicly education and from his amour in community service.  The list is to a fault long to admit here, but the loved friendships were quantitative by Didier throughout the years.
